This Pinot was a cut above the normal even for a quality producer like Bindi. An undergrowth briary note which adds interest. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking this. I buy Bindi every year for good reasons. Enjoyed another bottle 43 weeks later on 13th October 2023. Barb really liked this. Aromatic notes - confectionery with bright red and black cherries. Seems much more fruit driven - little evidence of whole bunch in the ferment. Fine tannins.

Barely medium weight but with a palate of medium plus intensity finishing with superfine tannins. Top quality with a drinking window stretching to 2030. First bottle of 4 in my cellar.

Apr 20th, 2022Quite pale in appearance which belies the power of the palate. Lovely nose showing mainly strawberry notes and some raspberry. Very fruit driven with no apparent whole bunch influence. A cool airey wine. I would love to put this up against some 2015 Burgundies- I think it would compare well.
