I typically avoid Blackstone but this is a nice surprise. Dark chocolate, blackberry and plum.

Lisa says it tastes like a Pinot and I say it tastes like a merlot. I guess they must be part of the blend? Web site for 2011: 81% Syrah, 17% Merlot, 2% Chardonnay.

Perfect when you're looking for a cheap, nice tasting wine. My wine of choice when I'm not looking to spend a lot. Flavor is well balanced and goes great with a chicken/pasta dish.
