Perfect blue fruited, refreshing Cab Franc for summer dinners! This Blason had nearly no tannin, a bright zippy personality but still very good, ripe fruit. It was very nice with the SF farmers market eggplant Parmesan and Mendocino "turduken" sausage!

What a great little wine. The blason has tons of blue fruit without sacrificing acidity. It went very well with burgers and felt like a steal at the price.

Never had an Italian cab franc. Grassy and bacon nose had me wondering. But drinking it was pure pleasure. Especially with food. Great deal too. Decanted it.
