Catena Mendoza Malbec

A nice entry-level précis of Malbec's appeal here; nice floral aromatics, chocolate-dusted plum, silk-textured wine, a winning juiciness to it, too. Easy to like.

If you love Malbec and great value, I recommend this Catena highly.

Interesting wine. Borderline vinegar taste. Did not enjoy..

Good fruit, slight oak on the finish. Quite enjoyable with a smoked gouda and a grilled hanger steak.

Smooth silkier than expected start. Strong plum. Dry finish. Pretty reasonable given the price

Make sure you drink with a big grilled meat. Plum and spice are everywhere. Some leather also

Monday night wine, paired with roast. Dry & fruity.
