Catena Zapata is a true Argentinian power house, delivering great wines also at the mid range. This DV Malbec is modern , pleasant, robust and delicious. Deep purple color, nose lightly dusty with smoky wood, ripe black fruits, red current, a touch of tobacco and spice. Medium - full body with firm tannins, good acidity and vibrant fruit, a classic Malbec with a nice dry finish. My score 88, drink to 2021
