Barda Patagonia Pinot Noir
A new region for Pinot noir for the fine wine world lots of potential for rio negra region of Patagonia these ungrafted vines were found and then the family purchased it. This is an old world style Pinot noir with a zesty spicy finish very savory. Dried floral highlights brown spice a very fresh and spiced finish with a good amount of fresh earth and truffle nuance. Old world Pinot noir from Patagonia. Finish 45+ excellent

Sweet and savory cherry cola, juicy red berries, intense refreshing acidity, and a long lasting finish filled with creamy vanilla, saline minerality, black pepper, and herbs.

Jul 28th, 2013Imported by Kobrand. From Piero Incisa della Rochetta, grandson and heir apparent to the founder of Tenuta San Guido, of Sassicaia fame. He fell in love with a Patagonian Pinot Noir at a tasting in New York, traveled to the Argentina and discovered two abandoned Pinot vineyards from 1932 and 1955. This wine blends those two and one more recently planted vineyard. Pinot from the desert.

Mar 25th, 2016Mysterious venue, mysterious wine. This Patagonian PN is bolder than its color suggests, fruitier than its origins belie, and pairs wonderfully with most things you throw at it.
