Deep violet hue. With time in the bottle, it has developed a wonderfully complex bouquet of blackberry, black cherry, earth, chocolate, and spice as well as hints of violets and a slightly medicinal tang. On the palate, it is medium bodied with resolved tannins although it still has plenty of rich, dark fruit. Made from highly selected grapes from old vines in Luján de Cuyo aged 14 months in 100% new French oak, this fully mature wine is a beautiful example of how high quality Mendoza Malbec can age.
