Big like Australian wine, but drinks like a French wine. Cheers to a Spanish wine that's one hell of a rockin' red!

2010 Breca - fantastic wine with lomo saltado. Fond memories of Peru.

My second favorite wine of the evening was the glass-staining ruby '10 Bodegas Breca Garnacha 'Old Vines'. With a thick, syrupy texture it had strong cherry-cola, candied licorice and blackberry aromas. Soft, but with enough minerality to perk up the palate.

2010 vintage. Complex and full nose. Gentle tongue. Sweet berry and tannins. Full body. Satisfying finish.
