First exposure to Malbec. As a lifelong white wine (Pinot Grigio and Gris) enthusiast, I found it to be pleasantly dry.

Had a strong alcohol aftertaste and smell. Low acidity, not very sweet, medium tannins. Must try it with steak next time. Had it with lasagna. Upped the rating on Day 2 with a more complementary dinner - apple chicken sausage and fried noodles.
