Sela 2012. Medium colour, very juicy fruit, plum, blueberry, violets, edge of black pepper. Slight dusty, cedar notes. Classed as Joven. 1 year in oak. Could be a crianza. Dry grip in the mouth, very french style, cedar, oak, spice. Sweet red fruit, plum. 87

(16/20) Аромат спелых красных ягод с лёгкой нотой кокоса и красных специй. Свежая кислотность и гладкие танины. Выраженный ягодный вкус, гладкие танины, долгое послевкусие. Весьма приятное вино.

Very good, but price-y.

2012 vintage consumed April 2016. A lot of tannin, good fruit. Needs 30 mins to open and adjust.

Well, tonight is a definite two-fer. This is very good, to me, in that I'm getting NO dill on the nose, but plenty of other pleasant aromas. Not that I hate dill, it's great with fish, or potatoes with butter, but I'm tired of it in Rioja wines.

This beauty has fresh blackberry scents, with pepper, anise, and roasted meat notes, with more of the same on the palate. Medium alc, medium tannin, medium+ body, great finish, medium acidity. Tulip the cat-approved. Excellent!
