Valserrano Reserva Rioja Tempranillo Graciano

Bit spicy for my tastes but still a good pick. Strong berry, deep reds.

Notes of pear, watermelon rind, and dates.

Pucker of tannins so I aerated it quite a bit. It didn't explode with flavor and but enjoyable once acclimated to the soft tannins. Very sensitive to temperature and profile changes between few degrees. I let mine sit in glass while sipping here and there and I enjoyed the changing profile. Probably not a repeat purchase though.

Pretty tasty. Deep, port qualities. Big legs.

Intense and complex, red berries on the nose, soft silky tannins, and well balanced spice, with a long finish. Really a great Rioja..
