Great value. 60/30/10 tempranillo/malbec/cabernet from Argentina. Much more like a left bank Bordeaux than a rioja. Still a big wine. One bottle left. If I can avoid drinking it, I'll enjoy seeing where this will be in a few years.

Oct 1st, 2016I really like this wine. It's a great value. It's not what you expect. It's from Argentina, but it's mostly tempranillo (~60%) not malbec (~30%). It doesn't taste like a rioja (or a malbec for that matter) but like a left bank Bordeaux (the remainder is cabernet sauvignon). Dense mouth feel, still very big, tannic but approachable. This could go another 5-10 years.
