Obviously not kept well, but an experience nonetheless. Poured a brownish color that resembled dirty pond water but surprisingly there was a touch of fruit left. Iodine on the nose, dark spice on the palate.. Very much dead but a fun project to taste!

We elected to open this and see what experience it would provide. Decanted for 2.5hrs. Opens with an elegant bouquet of fruit composed of soft strawberries, raspberries, cherries and rose pedals. Followed by musk, mild hints of truffle and a distinct acidity. Served with duck with red berry sauce, red cabbage and potatoes. It’s a shell of its former self and past its prime but the amalgamation of flavours was quite enjoyable.
