Brooke’s gift from her 40th Birthday!

Small, but nice poof upon opening. Label is totally crumbling. Lovely dark gold color. Nose is complex with brioche, honey, caramel, butter, and butterscotch. Mix of Champagne and Sauternes. Wine is crisp with some nice sweetness. Very deep with a medium plus finish.

This would easily score 100, but there is a metallic, fishy funk aftertaste that is strange and unappealing. Other than that this is absolutely amazing for a ‘79!!!
