Ripe dark cherries, mushroom, wet potting soil and tobacoo...slight sweet vanilla, and old leather..alot of tertiary characters but fruit ever so present...acid held it all together with a really long finish...outstanding..

Medium Ruby. Earthy sappy nose with some plum notes of medium intensity. Fruit not overly prominent but still vibrant and persistent on the palate. Some barnyard, old Burgundian notes. Soft, fine tannins - all in balance

Whoa baby. This bottle reaffirmed my love for this wine. So young with a bright nose of dusty red AND black fruits, forest floor, cocoa nibs and anise, all framed by generous new oak. It seemed to get younger throughout the night (just like us)
