2012 - this field blend (syrah, Malbec, Mourvèdre, and some other Rhone varietals) is "ok". A true mutt of a wine, totally palatable but overpriced at the $16 I paid for it. A better price point would be $11-$12.

2012 volcano ridge vineyard, Clearlake Oaks CA. Malbec blend. Dark fruit, cherry. Dry finish. 14.7% well disguised. Hard to see color in dark room.
