More of a light caramel flavor. Kind of wish it were a bit oakier. That said, a decent rye for the price.

Color of maple syrup. Nose of apple cider, fragrant aldehyde, hot spice, barrel note. Very nice and signature note of Kentucky whiskey. Taste is surprising smooth, with sweet brown sugar, some hot spice, dried fruit, and a touch of leather and apple, very tasty, smooth, and dense. Aftertaste is lingering dried fruit with some alcohol burn. She is on par with costly Bourbons for sure.
