Jul 17th, 2017Red fruit and earth dominate, with a little cocoa powder in the wings, all shifting register and place across an impressive set of roughly three or four waves of flavor. Pretty, soft bouquet to match. Tannins a little intense this year, not enough substance to integrate these beasts. A pricy if lovely medium-weight only food wine.
