Smelled like pure burnt charcoal when I opened it. Tasted like overripe plum and strawberries but got considerably smoother after sitting in the decanter for a half hour. Still, a little too young and sassy for me.

I followed the advice of letting it breath 20-30 minutes before drinking, but on first sip I didn’t like how it hit the back of my throat. Maybe it was the oak notes. However, by the last sips it did mellow out. And I tasted the raspberry and 🍒 and a little bit of 🍓 notes. Glad I tried it, but I won’t buy again. ($10).
