Terragnolo Salento Negroamaro

This was a Dandelion Wine delivery.

Colour: dark red. The nose is intriguing of red, smoked peppers, dark chocolate and blueberries. The taste is less of the pepper but the blueberries become stronger. Pleasant but soft aftertaste. Very composed and pleasant wine.

15% abv--norm for the regional style. Perfumed yet dank & raisiny as hell--interesting but cloying. Difficult to consume more than 5oz....such an odd style.

It's an excellent PQR red. It's SUPER juicy and it's "inky" as heck. Almost like drinking an alcohol-soaked midnight blueberry. Very exciting at first but then somewhat overwhelming two glasses in. Will always try to have on hand. But it's about as subtle at being hit over the head with a baseball bat.

Super juicy. Loved this wine! Had it with dark chocolate with sea salt and caramel. Perfect paring! Thanks dandelion!
