Dark ruby. Nose of red cherry and leathery earth. Medium-bodied, fruity (for a Burgundy) palate echoes the nose. Medium plus firm tannins on opening; softening to a more friendly velvet with air. Definitely a wine for food, and it will shine in that place. Salmon, duck, medium/soft cheeses, or even lighter preparations of beef (Bourguignon, anyone?) will do nicely. Drink now through 2024.

Light body, chocolate & berries. A lovely drinkable Pinot Noir. Though young. Great for the price.
