Surprisingly good. Smooth, a tad mild.

One of the better wines we have had in quite a while. Jammy and tannic at the same time - such a delicious combo. Full, velvety mouthfeel. We had it with pasta but it would be best with red meat.

Joyously good value. The nose is earthy with a vinegar note—maybe my glass is not clean. Seems hotter than 13.5%. Opens up nicely with light tobacco on the front.

Dark ruby red. Aromas of juicy black cherries, cranberries, vanilla, hot cinnamon, and black licorice. Medium bodied and ridiculously soft and lush in mouthfeel, with dusty tannin and just a little pep to its acidity. Flavors of black cherries, cranberries, raisins, sweet tobacco, hot cinnamon, and black licorice. It finishes with that dusty tannin and flavors of cranberries and hot cinnamon. Midpalates are rarely my favorite part of a wine, but this lovely lady is so satisfying and elegant that it’s easily my favorite part.
