Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend

Faded pyrazines in the nose that grow in the finish. Stewed black fruit, beautiful aged wine with so much life left.

I had a Mohawk when this wine made

Tasted 6 bottles back to back with zero bottle variance. Savory, singed cedar, hoisin, and intensely aromatic. Plenty of time left.

Very nice aged Bordeaux. Probably slightly better a few years ago but not necessarily over the hill. Excellent aromatics, super smooth tannins, lots of secondary flavors. Great pairing with chicken at Le coq rico.

Green funk. On to next bottle
