Wow... watch your tooth enamel... searing acid left even after 6 years. Found 3 or 4 hidden away and now I remember why I bought a case. What an amazing and interesting food wine for @$15 a bottle....nice clear lemon yellow and bursting with lemon and sea spray. Really attractive mouth-feel and bone dry finish. Chenin Blanc is so much more fun than Sauvignon Blanc....pure palate-cleaning pleasure!

A lot in this bottle for 20 bucks. Has the floral & herbal aromatics one expects from Chenin, also packs the depth of apple & pear notes on the palate. The richness of the fruit is countered by an electric level of acidity & tension. Structurally, this reminds me more of Chablis than Saumur, & a light smoky note lingers on the back of the palate. Unreal value here.
