Strawberry marmalade lingers through excellent balance. Hints of minerality before moderate oak tannin.

A little mean compared to the 2010 but could grow up to be the better of the 2 vintages.

09s have been hit or miss for me but man, when they're on, they're on. This is a great example of why: open and dominated by sappy red fruit, wide and giving.

Surprisingly not good.

This 2009 is really starting to show well. Still tons of fruit, but the secondary aromas of dried violets and celery salt are starting to show through. Great structure and just a very balanced wine! #mondosips
