Decanted 2 hours prior to drinking. Was still quite closed on first tasting - more tannic than expected and not particularly soft tannins. Cedar, black currant and graphite on the nose. Great with roast lamb. Needs longer to breathe than you think

Beautiful dark ruby red color with pleasant aromas of black fruits, oak, and a touch of sweet basil. Medium-bodied followed by elegant taste of ripe dark cherry, plum, and light dark chocolate flavor on the palate. Solid structure, very soft tannins, and juicy aftertaste at the end. Very nice & sexy wine after breathing at least 30 minutes.
