Château Fonbadet
B by Fonbadet Red Bordeaux Blend

Hm. A bit thin for a Bordeaux. Sour. Not so aromatic. Not very complex.

Color of purple, quite saturated. Nose of refined sweetness, dark fruits, oak, and gasoline like oily note. Taste shows good oak and dark fruits, good acidity and ripe grape sweetness, some mineral note, smooth and low tannins. Aftertaste is medium long, continuously tasty with a bit rind and spice. Crowd pleaser. The only complaint is the nose. Yet the flavor is very good.

NOSE: sour leafy cherry water. A little plum. Strawberry after air. Ehhh.
TASTE: not great, but drinkable. Thin, bitter cherry and a little herbs, some licorice. The strawberry again. Plenty of acidity. 82-83. Don’t remember what I paid for this, but I doubt it was worth it.
