Screaming value here, folks. Those with a low Brett threshold need not apply, but the funk does recede into the background with some air eventually revealing some very sweet, pretty fruit. Some lovely violet and lavender nuances come through on the nose. Wonderful acidity, subtle minerality. There’s great structure throughout, yet a remarkable palate-coating softness in texture. I would buy a case of this in a heartbeat. Some for casual dining, some for pure enjoyment, some for mid-term aging. Total winner.

PnP. Very dark purple color, almost black. Smoky, earthy nose with dark fruit. Same on the palate with a gritty texture. A very unpleasing finish as it tastes like dirty water. Outside of the awful finish, a nice wine.

First bottle of the New Year. PnP. Lovely purple color. Great earthy, floral nose. Same on the palate with some spice and fresh rubber/plastic. Very unique and complex! Medium plus depth and finish with subtle tea on the finish. This is great and has an awesome price. Very happy!

Winery in the movie “A Good Year”. PnP. Wine has a big barnyard, cow shit nose; which I kind of like. Dark red, deep maroon color. Lovely texture with low alcohol. Nice balance of cherries and plums, with earth and terroir. Love the uniqueness and rich depth.

Love this Luberon red blend. Rich and even earthy, cherry, plum. Great setting at the vineyard with a view of Bonnieux. There was even a Roman bridge around the corner.
