Great color in the glass, ink black. One of the darkest stains on the cork I have seen as well. Fruit, lots of oak on the nose but smells very hot and high in alcoholic. Not very balanced on the palate... Not very much fun to drink, harsh tannins, dry and even bitter at times. Improved after 4 hours in the decanted, but still a poor effort.
