Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

The cheese course wine and it's perfect. This wine out of magnum still needs time but with the soft white cheeses, it's heavenly. The fruits are rustic; blackberries, dark cherries, rhubarb, dry cranberries, green peppers, soft silky minerality, dry stones, dry stems, dry black earth, dry florals, high acid and a long finish that consistent and long. Out of magnum.

First steak on the Lodge Hibachi and jolly old Margaux. We'll see!

After 25 years, I really enjoyed the balance of red fruits, earth and floral elements.

Old Bordeaux. Almost as old as me!

Doesnt have the floral explosion of the best old Margaux but still. Good grown up wine. Bitter and big.
