Saturday night play date for the kids so we should enjoy ourselves as well. Really enjoyed this a lot more than the 1999. Very elegant with some acidity and umph at the end.

Quite youthful. Reserved, classy. After a couple of hours of air, almost light and weightless.

Wine of the night. More balanced than the'94 Margaux, with more for notes. To me, there was red currant and plum.

Lean and tart but with decent complexity and length. It can last many more years but it won't get that much better. 2 hour decant.
