Super surprised at how well this wine is holding up.. Lots of lift on those nose... Typical Lafite elegance and restraint. Lead pencil, high-toned red and black fruit, tobacco, minerals.. #Nice

1993 vintage. Medium ruby. Very leathery and cedar cigar box. White pepper. Slight Brett notes. Savoury spices. On the palate, lacks depth. Medium body and tannins, good acidity. Medium finish. Slight greenness on the mid palate. Not bad for the vintage.
