Soft tannins, nice juicy core of fruit, nice!!!

Beautiful smooth, bold flavor. Smokiness that sometimes turns me off from cheap Merlot is tame and subtle.

Woody nose with dried apricots upon pouring. Finishes with a very slight tart cherry sweetness at the roof of the palette. Medium bodied with delicate tannins gripping to end. Great with or without food but a little too light for red meat, I would say.

An easy drink with dark fruitful tannins and a peppery after taste that give this enough character to be easy but not boring.

Meh. I'd skip it. $80 at Capital Grille
