Beautiful color, with just the beginning of brick on the rim.
Aromas of tar, black currant leaf, dried black fruits. Still so youthful.
Actually this wine needs more time so show more complexity and has lots of life left.

tasted alongside 100pt 2009s this showed how lower scoring “aged” Bordeaux can actually “drink better” ~ the expansive breadth of this wine in layers of fruit and tertiary flavors won everyone over

The extraction and rich, sweet black fruit whispered Napa but the pencil lead on the nose and subtle morel mushrooms and cedar gave it away. Nuanced but crisp cassis, toast and a light minerality that lingered forever. Beautiful. Was amazed by the subtle variation in each bottle from an OWC uncorked and decanted together.

What a beauty. Great showing for this bottle. Would love to have some time in the glass with this.

5/2/21 Tasting group. My 1st, group 1st. Black cherries, plum, anise. Velvet texture. Flavors follow aromas. Nice grip.

Love the balance of the '95's, everything you want for well aged Bordeaux.

My favorite of the night. This wine is singing right now.

Rich dark expresso, smoke, blue and black fruit, I thought it was tannic but not overly so. A lot of integrity and style.

Massive tannins. Even with 20 years of age, I feel like I opened it too soon.
