Lovely for a second label. Still very young and charged with primary fruit.

Hitting all the notes. Great introduction to St. Julien

Mulberry, dark leather, and tobacco on the nose. Blackberry, blueberry, dark forest earth, and mushrooms on the palate. Low acids and low tannins. Heavy body but not overpowering and lusciously rich.

Lots of green notes of thyme and bell pepper but not always pleasant. A damp taste

Heavy cherry nose. Blackberry, plum and spice. Lovely
