Nice yummy fruit, balance. 90 Merlot/10 Cab Franc from Lalande de Pomerol. Not much length, but delightful at the BBQ! From the Durantou family of Chateau l'Eglise Clinet.

Lots of blueberry and blackberry jam on the front end, with good earth. Lots of alcohol though. This is a good intro Bordeaux for someone who likes Shiraz.
