This is second for Pontet-Canet, 5th class of grand Cru in Bordeaux. Deep violet color initially, later on, changed into vintaged color. Aroma is including Oak, Vanilla, black fruits, a bit spicy. Taste is still solid. One hour later, opened, still have a certain level of acidity, so even if it is 2004 vintage, still needs another 5 years. At least one hour decanting is necessary. @7873, Tuscany-TH, 161229-170318
