Almost 2hr decant. Dark red color. Definitely an off bottle but not bad. Taco salad, minerals, and green elements on the nose. Very unique and lacks fruit with plenty of tartness. Not a bad experience, but not typical of this producer and no where near the bottle I had a few months ago.

Dec 20th, 2020One of my favorites! Same as previous vintages, which is crazy seeing ‘07 was supposedly a horrible vintage. You have to get through a rough nose at first, but then it’s awesome! Give a lot of air and the nose dramatically improves after 2 hours.
Paired with Chilean Wagyu Bavette.
