Soirée California Red Blend

Drinkable (just barely) but swill compared to similar price points from Bogle, Guenoc,, or BV. Avoid.

Black cherry. Nice fleshy wine with black jelly. 12

Red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Sirah, and Malbec. Chocolate and blackberry with a tiny bit too much caramel oak.

I received this as a gift. I opened it on 12/29/16. I was very pleased. It was a very simple wine and a good choice for a weeknight.

This vintage has aged well. Much better in 2016.

Little funky on the nose in a non wine-flaw way. Tastes a bit watered down. For the price, it is a solid weekday red blend.

Gives me a headache.
