This wine needed 30-45 minutes to open. As most traditional French wines, the nose was not as strong, but I detected wet slate and raspberries. Flavor notes added bitter sweet chocolate and boysenberries. Very earthy with leathery tannins.

Very good wine, medium almost full body, great finish, I got it for $15 and it is worth every penny. Drink now!
