After all the Cimarossa reds I’ve enjoyed, I figured it was time I gave this a fair shake. Only time I’ve had this was while visiting the winery a year or so ago, but it was just a splash. Hay/straw color in the glass, with quite the savory aromatics...lots of sea salt and guava. Reminds me a bit of the Addax SauvBlanc (though more filtered). Limestone, melon and just a kiss of sweet tropical fruit on the palate. The finish is a very solid balance of fruit and savory/herbal notes. Acidity is medium and certainly a more full/round version of Cali SB. Consensus? I love every. single. wine. that Cimarossa offers.

Has some apples and herbs on the finish, but mostly tropical character and backbone. Should have bought more of this while I had the chance!
