Clemens Hill Vineyard
Cellar Release Pinot Noir
Aromas of red and black fruits, violets and mulchy Sous Bois. Coal River Valley - close to the Vosne Romanee of Tasmania IMO. Sweet, savoury and intense - more raspberry and black cherry than beetroot. Easy to like - see previous note about a year ago. Had another bottle 20 weeks later on 11th November 2023 with similar tasting notes. Had my last bottle in late December 2024 with consistent notes. An excellent Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

Jun 23rd, 2023Rich and luscious. Red ripe fruits. Certainly a stalky whole bunch element. A note of ginger. A raspberry note on the palate. A very easy to like crowd pleasing Pinot Noir - high quality Coal River fruit and winemaking.

Jun 26th, 2022This is just the Pinot Noir but that choice not available from Delectable. Quite dense in colour. Notes of beetroot and rhubarb on nose and palate. Full lush and delicious. A great discovery from the annual Tasmanian Pinot expo at the Pinot Shop in Launceston which we visited a few months ago. Exceptional QPR at $35. Some savoury aspects - suspect a % of whole bunch. Soft and flavoursome from a good vintage. Similar notes to a 2nd bottle 171 weeks later on 2/2/22. Quite a rich Pinot and thoroughly delicious. Luckily I have 4 left.
