The wine was pale yellow-green in colour and offered ripe gooseberry, ripe green apple, lime, guava as well as grassy and stony/flinty notes on the nose. On the palate the wine was fresh, with ripe gooseberry, green apple and lime as well as grassy notes and a mild saltiness, paired with high acidity, a good mouthfeel and very good length. A fresh, pure, clean, medium-bodied NZ Sauvignon Blanc. I liked it even better that the Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc I had earlier this week. 89
