Shiner from @Ross Cobb. Guessing 2016 Rice-Spivak because it’s so damn perfect.

Let me preface this by saying on release the 2009 Pinot Noir vintage in Sonoma County is my absolute favorite to come about in the last ten years. This bottle however was wonky! Really had me questioning the oak regiment this wine saw. Lots of oak on the nose with overwhelming notes of DILL and coconut. Strange and out of place for a wine I was looking forward to / expecting to just crush Peking Duck. Head scratcher.
