Surprisingly, this gits 'r done for a Wednesday night in your hotel room wine. Nose is pretty much a mint & chocolate licorice stick. Sweet red fruit and cedary palate. Good- just tastes a little manipulated. Didn't even sniff the Odette I had at a client dinner, but good just the same.

Bordeaux style varietals with a little Syrah. Easy to drink for an every day wine. Doesn't feel too heavy but it's nice and strong. HEB

Big warm Bordeaux blend. Simple black fruit and vanilla nose. Big black fruit, tobacco, and cassis on the pallet but tempered with the earthiness of the Syrah. Medium acidity and slightly over-grippy tannins. Awesome big winter wine!

Loved it. Perhaps it was the company, perhaps the food but without being verbose I'd say it was comforting, warm, smooth.
