Colour of bright light ruby. Smoky and varnishy red fruits: red currant and red cherry on the nose. The palate is light to medium weight with medium intensity. A little noticeable oak on the palate but not intrusive. With time in decanter the nose developed a foresty complexity - a beautiful floral sappy perfume. This is why we love Pinot Noir. I have had Australian Pinot Noirs similar to this - reminiscent of Mornington Peninsula IMO.

Pale Ruby. Notes of cedar, cinnamon and pepper. Spicy more than fruit driven - a hint of violet. Medium bodied and medium acid with a medium+ finish with silky supple tannins. An excellent new world Pinot Noir. Drink now or cellar for 5 years.

Out of magnum. Extremely balanced red fruit with acid and tannin to let this one age quite awhile. Can't want to taste this again in 10 years. Wells and Mike have done a helluva job on this one. Complex but very approachable.
