Rio Negro Malbec

Moderately extracted pigment, cloudy sedimented purple. Tobacco, butter and mint notes in nose with a hint of raspberry. Tobacco and just a touch of blackberry flavor; later some lactic orange flavor emerges. Good acidity, white pepper and tobacco aftertaste, moderate astringency. Light chewy tannins but light on fruit; muted flavor profile. Possibly past peak

I agree with previous comments, jammy, tobacco-y with blackberry notes and after it’s aerated it has a better finish on the palate.

Fruit forward but not jammy. Needs to be aerated.

Young berries on the nose. Fruit forward and peppery. Quite nice!
