Dirty & Rowdy
Familiar California Mourvedre
This might be one of my favorite wines ever. Last bottle and it's probably the right time. But there is so much on the nose, strawberry, spicy and front of the palate that makes me think and smile. Baby back ribs, rice & beans. Wish I had 1 more for 2024, but it wouldn't be as good. I love be this wine.

Sep 27th, 2017Juicy and just a little bit feral, and a fun addition to our Thanksgiving lineup. Lucky that this didn't get much attention early in the evening, so we were able to come to it with a few hours open, which helps add depth and complexity here

Nov 29th, 2016Wild strawberry jam with some earth. Something about it reminds me of Ridge Zin, in a very nice way.

Aug 30th, 2016First time trying Dirty and Rowdy, very excited!! Very interesting right off the bat, no staining on the cork at all and and such an interesting color out of the bottle. Very light red with brownish hues. Nose was full of floral notes and a little nuttiness. Bright and crisp acidity, so elegant. Slight minerality near the finish, which is long and lingering. Moderate tannins (6/10) that grips starting mid to end palate. Very impressed and so happy we got on their allocation list. Thanks Hardy, Kate, Matt and Amy!!! You guys are doing great things out there! Drink till 2028.

Apr 7th, 2016Truly delicious! Changed a lot over the 3 hours or so we had it open! Bloody, and juicy and bright, but deep and and lengthy. Crazy stuff for thirty or so dollars.

Dec 11th, 2015I always want to bathe in the aromas of this wine. Opened two nights ago and it's still kicking. Fruit has given way to earth and savoriness. @Hardy Wallace can do no wrong.
