Beautiful, opaque, golden hued garnet color, and lovely floral aromas of violets, baking spice and tea leaves, with a never lacking fruit forward style, of raspberries and cranberries, with a distinct, mineral lacing that gives way to a lingering tingle of black pepper that leaves you longing for more. If have to say this bottle, as well as Macard's 'Aux Guettes Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru' are two of some of the best drinking Pinot Noir for under $40 I've had the pleasure of trying.
