I opened this to cook our coq au vin with, but after tasting it, I found it hard to dump in the Dutch oven! This is great passetoutgrain with crackling crunchy fruit! Now I have to find something better to pair with the dish...

This is the best passetoutgrain I have ever had, loaded with pretty Gamay fruit but supported by Nuits acidity. Not complex- just delicious!

May 15th, 2015After how well the bottle I stewed the chicken in showed, I couldn't wait to drink one. Cinnamon prepared chicken thighs, rice & Tokyo radish and we opened one. The sweet sauce on the chicken dulled the fruit of this charming wine. Too bad- it had so much high quality blackberry aroma and flavor without any flabbiness... Luckily I have more to try with other dinners!

Jan 9th, 2015Great, sweet fruited passetoutgrain that went very well with roast chicken & potatoes. We need a case of this!
